The Ford TW range of high horsepwoer tractors are legendary for their robust, powerful nature and brutish good looks. This DVD charts the history of the range, beginning with the very first Ford six-cylinder tractors such as the Fordson Major and Ford 6000 before following the development of the tractosr fitted with a new Ford six pot diesel engine starting with the 8000 of 1968 and finishing with the 8700 and 9700 of 1976. This then made way for the birth of the first TW models in 1979 and the later upodated range of 1983 and 1985. finally we see how in 1989 the old TW platform made way for the powershift transmission equipped Series 30 that brought the TW story to a close in 1994, all told through original archive footage and our own specially filmed material
