The first National Grassland Demonstration was held on fields in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire in 1964 and was so popular that it returned as a regular event in the same location every three years. As a world leading demonstration of grassland machinery this event stood out due to the working plots that were the amin feature of it and saw all the latest in grassland kit demonstrated on the altest farm tractors of the time. 

In this series of DVDs we shall look at the event and the tractors and machinery being demonstrated from the 1980s to the last show in 2017 using our own footage and also archive film and still photographs kindly lent to us by visitors to the event over the years. 

In Part One we focus on the various mowers and rakes shown working at the demonstration and also teh early years of trailed forage harvesters up to 1993.
