CHILDREN'S BOOKS FROM HEDGEROW FARM MEDIA

THE ADVENTURES OF HEDGEROW FARM

A series of books that brings the real world of farming to life for children of all ages. llustrated by photographs of models, the idea is to recreate real farming situations accurately while also telling a fun story. The models give a more relatable connection to children than just photographs of real tractors and machinery, or cartoon like drawings, and combine with the stories to give an entertaining and educational flavour of how farm machineryactually works in real life.

Hedgerow Farm can be found in the village of Green Meadow deep in the English countryside of the United Kingdom. It is what is called a ‘mixed farm’ as it grows both crops and also produces milk from a herd of 70 black and white cows. Farmer Fred’s grandfather first bought the farm back in the days when horses were used for most of the farm work and tractors were still a rare sight. The farm itself dates back to at least the year 1066 and Farmer Fred is now the third generation of his family to run Hedgerow Farm. The farm covers 300 acres with barley, wheat, potatoes, sugar beet, peas, maize and grass being the crops grown, the last two being grown exclusively to feed the farms cows
