Leyland tractors were once a major force in the tractor industry and in this new programme we celebrate that fact by telling the story of these tractors from their origins as the Nuffield Universal at the end of the 1940s, through the various subsequent Nuffield machines onto the first blue Leyland tractors of 1969. Using footage of working examples and those on display at rallies, we continue the story as the Leyland tractor developed into the Synchro range in 1978. Finally the Golden Harvest models were launched in 1980 before the company was sold to Marshall in 1982. Join us as we celebrate a truly British tractor story told for the first time ever on DVD!
