This programme tells the story of the Fendt tractor from 1928 to the latest sophisticated machines of the 21st Century. Using some of Fendt's own archive film as well as contemporary material from the UK, this DVD really shows how and why the Fendt brand has become known as 'the Rolls-Royce of tractors'!
The company was responisble for many firsts, including front axle suspension, toolcarrier designs, Turbomatik clutch, electronic controls and of course the Vario transmission - all are inlcuded in this DVD.
We also see how AGCO bought the firm and how today it holds a key position in theis large North American firms farm machinery protfolio.
Much of the old silent films featured have not been seen in the UK before and make a fascinating and unforgettable history of this premier tractor manufacturer. We have dubbed over music where possible instead of faking tractor noise to keep the programme as authentic as possible.
Whatever your level of tractor interest there is sure to be something in this DVD that will add to your knowledge.
